iRobis (Institute of Robotics in Scandinavia AB) was founded in 2006 with the goal of turning research and work in the evolving robotics industry into commercial products. The team behind iRobis has substantial experience in the robotics industry having developed over 100 robot prototypes.

We aim to provide mobile autonomous and semi-autonomous robotics systems with advanced highly organized multi-level adaptive intelligence. Our core design for a robotics “thinking machine” will be based on a new architectural concept (patent pending) that is independent of robotics hardware platform. Adaptations to specific robotics hardware platforms and purposes are expected by the addition of special purpose program whithout altering the core design and by applying the core system’s “evolutionary” programming system to train robots.
